Nana

Today was a very sad day for my family. We laid my Dads mom (Nana) to rest this afternoon. She went to be with Jesus Friday morning. We will miss her so much. I was talking with my great aunt Nancy about Nana on the car ride to my parents house, what a amazing lady she was. She was loved by so many. I was thinking to myself today what I will tell Lizzy about her Nana. I want to tell her that she was always a lady, full of grace, and amazing faith in her Lord. There so many wonderful thing that I want her to know about her. I am sad that she will never know how precious she was here on earth.

Recent Lizzy Pics

In the past I feel like that I have been thankful for the blessing that God has given me in this life, sometimes more than others. However my heart has become much more tender since I have become a mom and have been working as a nurse in the PICU at Ar children's hospital. I am totally overwhelmed by the gifts that he gives everyday. It amazes me hows God in he faithfulness can reveal to us a glimps of his glory in the faces of children. Life is a gift, it is so precious and fragile. I pray that I will not take that forgranted, and treasure the moments that God gives, they are so sweet!!!

Rice Cereal

Lizzy is now almost five months old. Praise God she is now sleeping through the night. It started about two weeks ago and I feel like a new woman. She will go to bed at around 8 and sleeps until about 5:30 or 6:00. The first night that she did it Nate and I woke up about 4:00 am in a panic, because she had not cried and we were so use to getting up with her. We soon discovered that all was well and we had actually gotten some sleep.
She has been eating rice cereal and some apple sauce. We got off to a rough start but now as you can probably see she really enjoys it. We went to the doctor the other day and she weighs 14lb and 5 oz. she is 25 inches long. She takes after her daddy and is a tall girl.
